Help! I can't see or select the Clovis folder!
The Folders tab

Under the Folders tab, you can change the behaviour of your
Clovis folders.
The ‘Folders’ window shows you a list of Clovis
folders that are present on your system. You can adjust various
settings with the checkboxes below this window:
Auto-resize column widths – tick
this box if you want to automatically resize column width
to the width of the content in that column.
Confirm record delete – tick this
box if you want to be asked for confirmation every time
you delete data in a Clovis folder.
Mark all records as read on exit –
tick this box to mark all the data in this folder as ‘read’
when you switch to another folder.
Hide expired records – if this box
is ticked, expired records will be hidden. If this option
is not selected, expired data will remain visible but it
will show up as lighter grey text.
Delete expired records – if this
box is ticked, expired records will be deleted.
The ‘CSV File Output’ area lets you change the
location where the .csv file of the folder is kept, whether
the .csv file will be dynamically updated, and whether commas
and line breaks are stripped.
The ‘After processing and deleting incoming Clovis
mail (all schemas)’ part of the window has settings
that apply to all folders.
Remove content from deleted mail –
tick this checkbox if you want the content stripped from
the Clovis mail after it has been processed.
Remove mail from the Deleted Items folder
– tick this checkbox if you don’t want processed
Clovis mails to be kept in Deleted Items.
The User tab

The ‘Identity’ area shows your Clovis registration
information: your username, e-mail address and organisation.
Suspend Mails button: use this button
to suspend incoming Clovis mails while you are on holiday.
re-Register button: generates another
registration mail with your details. Only use this button
when requested to do so by Clovis support.
The ‘User File Location’ area shows where your
Clovis files are stored.
Below that is a setting to override the default format of
Clovis e-mails.
The Sending tab
This screen lists the folders you have sender licences for.
The Advanced tab
This tab is mainly used for support-related functions.

The checkboxes under ‘Message Log’ let you specify
the level of detail in the Clovis logfile.
View Log File button: lets you
view the Clovis logfile.
View Error File button: lets you
view the Clovis error file, if this file has been created.
Clear Error File button: lets you
clear the contents of the error file.
Send All: sends the Clovis logfile
and the error file to Clovis support.
Clear All: clears the contents of
both the logfile and the error file.
Check entire Inbox for Clovis Mails button
– checks the entire inbox for Clovis mails. On an
inbox with many items (500+), this may take several minutes.
The ‘Thread Management’ area is only used for
troubleshooting purposes.
