Tutorial 2: Customising the Clovis
view
Try dragging a column heading to a different location. This
lets you reorder the columns the way you want to see them. <show
me>
Click the column headings to sort the data by that column. <show
me>
Change column width manually by clicking between the column headers,
and dragging. <show
me>
Automatically resize columns to the width of the content
by right-clicking on the grid view, and selecting ‘View’,
then ‘Size to content’. Similarly, you can distribute the size of the columns evenly over the width of the screen by choosing ‘View’ and then ‘Fit to window’
Move columns to the preview pane by right-clicking on the
grid view, and selecting ‘Columns’.
Untick the columns that you want to be displayed in the preview
pane. A tick in front of a column name means it will be displayed
in the grid view; no tick means it will be displayed in the preview pane.
Toggle the preview pane by right-clicking on the grid view,
and selecting ‘View’ then ‘Preview Pane’.
